The 10th Annual Red River Cleanup was a success
A clean community is a healthy community and as you know, Advanced AC is passionate about doing their part to combat litter and assist in cleanup efforts in Shreveport and Bossier City partnering with Shreveport Green, Bossier Sheriff’s Office, Keep Louisiana Beautiful, Friends of Cypress Black Bayou, Bayou Chapter of the Ozark Society, Shreveport Mayor’s city wide cleanup and the 10th Annual Red River Cleanup.
The 10th Annual Red River Cleanup (RRC) held on November 2, is an annual event that gathers volunteers to clean the river and surrounding areas for about 6 hours. Advanced AC’s Tom and Scott Lawson, are RRC’s logistic coordinator. They make sure the volunteers who are picking up litter in designated areas are safe.
They team up with Shreveport Policy Department, Shreveport Marine Patrol and Bossier Sheriff’s office providing security. But these folks take it a step further. They are generous sponsors for the past 6 years, grill up the most delicious burgers on their Advanced AC BBQ and even pick up heavy trash items and haul them to the RRC trash trailers.
This year, along with 400 other volunteers, they helped remove 20,200 pounds of trash and remove 135 tires. Volunteers were safe, had a great time and celebrated by enjoying free food, enter into a chicken wing eating contest and won prizes.
Giving back to the very community that is so good to Advanced AC is important. They say, be the change you want to see and we fully believe in that mission. Together we can accomplish anything.

Best heating and air company i have used since moving to Bossier. I called this morning and they had a service tech out by noon. Advanced Air was fast, professional and easy to communicate with. I called for a tuneup and somewhat was out a couple of hours later. Sean was professional, nice, attentive and thorough. He looked at something we were having problems with and gave possible problems and solutions and what to do if it did not resolve itself or got worse.
